Walking

Nuneaton Mountaineering Club offer a range of walks to suit all tastes, from touring the Carnedd to exploring the Cuillin. We have a programmed walk on the second weekend of each month, it's up to you whether you go for a day or a weekend, whether you stay in a tent or a hotel. On top of the programme, NMC members, generally, get out every weekend of the year; walks being planned at the weekly meetings.

Nov 2005 in the lakes

North Wales - Sept 2005

The range of trips is very broad from easy winter walks in the Peak district to major undertakings in the mountains. If you are a regular walker than you will find mountain walking a very good way to extend your fitness. The walks are spread over the whole day and often followed by a pub stop on the return.

Walking in the mountains can be dangerous and you are expected to be responsible for your own safety. Having said that it is far safer to explore the hills as part of a group.
